Principal's Message

10/25/2024

With the second term beginning, we want to remind everyone of the importance of regular attendance at school. The instruction that our teachers provide each day is invaluable and often can’t be made up. Please continue working hard to be at school every day, ready to listen, participate, and learn.

We are seeing progress this year with our three goals on our semester plan. Our focus is continuing on (1) effective tier 1 instruction, (2) training on and enforcing schoolwide expectations, and (3) student ownership over their individualized data. We feel strongly that as we achieve these three goals, positive student behavior will increase, and greater learning will take place.

Our staff is dedicated to helping your child succeed. Our goal is to provide a safe and positive learning environment with high expectations. Our school provides a solid foundation for your child’s educational experience. We welcome continued communication with your child’s teacher and the school. This is key to your child’s current and future school success. Regular attendance is also crucial to your child’s academic achievement.

We invite you to be involved in school activities and opportunities to volunteer in the classroom.  A few of those opportunities include:

Teacher-led instructional support, usually in the classroom

PTA membership and participation

 School-wide events

Community Council participation

Be sure to register as a volunteer at https://appgarden5.app-garden.com/VolTrackUT30.nsf
