If your student is attending the West Elementary Summer German Extravaganza...

Enter through the front door. Doors will be unlocked at 8:50.
All students will sign in and sign out.
Lessons will begin at 9:00 am and will be held in rooms 24 and 26.
Parents should pick up their students at 12:00 noon at the front doors and sign them out.
Parents are responsible for providing transportation for their students.
All students are welcome, even if you did not return a form.

German Language Summer Extravaganza

All students are invited to attend West Elementary’s German Language Summer
Extravaganza. Sessions will be held on June 17-20 and June 24-27 from 9 am to noon. Your student may attend some or all of the camp. See flyer for more details and to sign up.

A look back at the 2018 Teacher of the Year

If you ask one of Samantha Liptac’s fourth-grade students what a mistake is, they will likely respond with one of her favorite mottos, “Mistakes are proof you are trying.”

Liptac prominently displays the phrase in her classroom throughout the school year. She uses it to remind students it is okay to make mistakes, especially when they learn from them.

But it certainly was no mistake Liptac was selected as the 2018 Tooele County School District Teacher of the Year.

Leadership Matters - Graduation

As the school year comes to an end, there is one group of students trying to find the happy medium between the euphoric feeling of having completed their formative school years and the often hopeful anxiety, or sometimes puzzling angst, of imagining where their next steps will take them. These intrepid students are our prospective graduates.
